Pre-Sales Engineer (f/m/x)

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Pre-Sales Engineer (f/m/x) at Pimcore you will…

• Create and demonstrate standard and custom demos by utilizing proven from-the-field solution approaches
• Support the Sales Team and the Solution Partners with potential clients RFI / RFPs
• Enable and train the Sales Team and Solution Partners to understand all modules and how to perfectly demo the Pimcore Platform and its commercial products
• Operate as a primary contact person for technical questions
• Collect customer and partner ideas, wishes, and pains to help improve our product offering by providing aggregated market insights to Product Management
• Generate and document solution approaches for recurring customer challenges to enable easy know-how transfer and rapid solution generation
• Participating in Pimcore’s marketing activities like fairs, webinars, roundtables

REQUIREMENTS

• At least two years of experience as a Junior Pre-Sales Consultant / Sales Consultant or at least three years of hands-on experience as PIM / MDM Product Owner / Project Manager / Data Steward
• Detailed knowledge about architecture, infrastructure, and MVP approach (based on Pimcore documentation)
• Ability to solve problems and showcase features based on standard solution approaches
• The ability to follow, refine or define pre-sales processes in close collaboration with Seniors
• Excellent communicator with different teams and stakeholders
• A team player mindset in an international, highly skilled setting
• Excellent German and English language skills
• A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for an on-site position in Austria (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)

• Detailed knowledge about Pimcore’s API (Pimcore API and Datahub) (based on Pimcore documentation)
• Being able to adapt existing configurations on the code level (workflows, headless templates)

For this position we differentiate Junior, Expert, and Senior maturity levels. For a full-time position with “Expert” seniority level we offer a starting salary of EUR 60,000 gross/year with the potential to earn more, depending on your qualifications and experience. For other European countries, we determine salaries based on local market conditions, your qualifications and experience and will always ensure that we provide a fair and attractive salary.
