Pimcore Up In The Air With Gogo

One very interesting use case (and from an impressive customer) is Gogo Merchandising Center. Gogo is a leading global aero-communications service provider that offers inflight Internet, entertainment, text messaging, voice and a variety of other communication services to the airline market.
Gogo was having a major issue with their SaaS application that they were using to build and maintain their product catalog. The product was not scalable and was preventing Gogo from expanding their product catalog into new markets. With a solution that was significantly preventing growth, Gogo urgently needed a new solution that would be scalable, user-friendly, and support all existing functionality.
Through OSSCube, Pimcore’s solution partner in North America, Gogo was advised to use Pimcore’s PIM platform in order to build their product catalog in an environment that would foster their growth. Using Pimcore allowed Gogo to dramatically reduce their time to market thus quickly responding to the needs of their consumers. Pimcore also allowed for continued use of all existing functionalities and therefore completely replace their legacy system. As a result, Pimcore was able to create a new Merchandising center that improved customer satisfaction, increased loyalty, and could continuously scale up as the market fluctuates.
