Pimcore 5 Beta released!

This new version comes with all eCommerce features included. The eCommerce framework, which was a module in former versions, is now part of the core!

Dear Pimcore community!

We are proud to announce another big milestone today. The Beta of Pimcore 5 has just been released.

This new version comes with all eCommerce features included. The eCommerce framework, which was a module in former versions, is now part of the core!

We take this opportunity to give you an update from our core development team.
As announced in March, when the Alpha was released, Pimcore 5 will be powered by Symfony (the currently leading PHP framework). The transition from Zend to Symfony ensures that Pimcore stays a future-proof software platform.
