pimcore 2.0 released

We're really happy to announce that the final version of pimcore 2.0 is now available.

Pimcore 2.0 is a big step forward not only for the pimcore platform itself but also for the whole open source enterprise content management and application framework community. Features like personalization and targeting as well as the continuously implemented "build anything" architecture covered by a modern user interface are not only state-of-the-art but also forward-looking.

Upgrading to 2.0

Pimcore 2.0 is fully backward compatible to version 1. The update is available via the integrated updater in your pimcore backend. We strongly recommend to perform the update on a testing environment and not directly on the live system. Please remember that with pimcore 2.0 the system requirements have changed (PHP 5.4).
