Case Study: Designing the designers' design

The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) is a private design school with four departments: Design, Fashion, Visual Communication, and Management. Every year, 10 000 students sign up for courses.

Jakala designed and developed IED's new corporate web portal using the Pimcore Digital Experience Platform, which enabled native integration of PIM, DAM, and CMS. This allowed us to better serve IED's business needs.

An online presence is essential for a school to make itself renowned to students, their families, and teachers all over the world. The primary point of contact for learning about course content, requesting information, and establishing the first contact.
Lösung

An integrated worldwide digital ecosystem

Using Pimcore, Jakala designed a worldwide corporate website (multi-domain, multi-country, multi-language), drafted and implemented a design system used to produce over 5 000 pages, developed commerce functionality for selling courses (headless integration with Shopify), and drew up the integration of numerous touchpoints with Salesforce Service & Marketing. Last but not least, Jakala integrated the digital platform with a ministerial course management system (Cineca).

With PIMCORE, IED now manages 6 websites (multi-domain, multi-country, multi-language), collects approximately 40K leads per month, and manages customer journeys using Salesforce Service & Marketing with a significant reduction in effort.
