Hotel chain improves delivery of rich content to its customers

Challenge

The main request was for a flexible content management system, with a central repository for all of the company’s digital assets like videos, images and PDF files. The framework to be used for the new website needed to be able to handle multi-language setups.
Strong user role management and control over the approval and publishing of new content, with versioning capabilities and the possibility to return to previous versions, was another one of the key requests, together with faster time to market of newly produced content.
Low response time and capability of handling traffic peaks without a decrease in performance or large sums invested in infrastructure were also key requests.

Results

The final result was a super fast website with around 100ms response time. Hosted on a medium-size cloud infrastructure, capable of handling continuous updates from different editors and with a fully responsive interface.
