The German brands Deuter Sport (backpacks), Ortovox (outdoor and mountain sports equipment), Maier Sports (outdoor and ski wear), and Gonso (cycling wear) are part of the outdoor division of Schwan-Stabilo Group.
The decisive factor for the digital transformation was to create a flexible platform with the help of a central PIM system, which creates high-performance commerce solutions, rapid market adaptations, and also innovation. Thus, it was not only necessary to integrate a comprehensive B2C shop, but also to standardize the online presence of several brands of the Group, to optimize processes, and to use synergies at the same time.
The maintenance and care of several brands, which have over 20 individual country shops and can be managed in up to 5 languages, means an enormous effort with high redundancy and sources of error.
Pimcore Partner Elements created a multi-mandate framework for the four brands Deuter Sport (backpacks), Ortovox (outdoor and mountain sports equipment), Maier Sports (outdoor and ski wear), and Gonso (cycling wear).
