The challenge: Get an MVP within 3 months

Previously Elli’s Wallbox product range just included Volkswagen, Škoda and Seat CUPRA. In addition to their own product range AUDI Wallbox products are now available in the Webshop as well. Thanks to Elli’s commitment, the advantages of the energy transition are now accessible to everyone - simply and effortlessly - as it is reflected in the new website’s Usability concept. We managed to design and develop a complex configuration tool including a checkout process within this short time limit.

The heart of the Website: The configurator

Everyone can now configure their own individualized Wallbox product version (model, cable, +LTE) by using the Wallbox configurator - the core feature of the website - to then order it immediately. So finally Elli got its own webshop with its own look & feel: Design, colour scheme and typography correspond to Elli’s young and fresh appealing Corporate Design. Elli - for everyone wanting to charge their Electric Car at home.

As a result we present a “MVP-Shop”, consisting of necessary essential content relevant for a launch. We developed the new Elli - webshop on Pimcore and hereby replaced the former Shopify-shop system with a more sustainable commerce-platform. The Pimcore solution is flexible in every respect: it’s connectable to existing systems and at the same time offers homogenous consistent solutions for all combined VW Wallbox brands.
These can easily be transferred to the new platform in the near future. Audi Wallboxes are already offered in the shop in addition to the classic Elli products.
