Tebis AG has been a leading global provider of CAD/CAM and MES software for customers in the global automotive, aerospace and machine manufacturing industries for over 35 years. With Pimcore, valantic developed a modern, appealing, and easy-to-manage corporate website, which now reflects the company’s expertise and reputation. The former different English country-versions were combined to only one version, that is able to display different contents according to the user’s country.
Tebis AG needed a modern, appealing, and well-performing web presence that would reflect its expertise and reputation as a global provider of software and process solutions. Besides adapting the website to the requirements, the customer also wanted a website that was easier to manage. Having the old website in several country-versions, but all in the same language, the new site should combine different country-versions to only one version but still appeal to the different target countries at the same time.
Using Pimcore as a website system, valantic developed a modern web presence, meeting all requirements. The new website got a fresh, modern look that now represents Tebis with all its expertise and global standing. Setting a special focus on usability and user journey, the site now perfectly displays the company’s products and services as well as showing interesting information on the company itself – no matter what device is used. Furthermore, several country versions (for the USA, Sweden, and the UK) were bundled to only one English version. With a special targeting being implemented, the English website can display different contents according to the user’s country – but can be managed easily as one language version in the Pimcore back-end.
Apart from that, the new website offers special filtering that allows the user to filter after countries, tags, and different categories, e.g. events, news, or jobs. In addition, numerous individual demands occurred during the development progress, which could constantly be satisfied by having a very agile programming as well as an agile system.
Tebis now has a modern, user-friendly website that scores with an attractive design as well as clarity and user guidance. The filtering options enhance the usability for customers, partners, and applicants even more. The maintenance effort could be lowered as well by combining different country versions with the same language to one language version of the website.
