VENDORi required a powerful, modern product information system that meets international requirements. The challenge was the seamless integration of SAP ByDesign, Shopware 6, and other marketplaces, as well as the automation of all data flows to reduce manual effort and keep data up to date at all times. At the same time, the system had to handle the high complexity of diverse product information, country-specific requirements, and heterogeneous interfaces to ensure consistent and reliable data across the organization.
With the new Pimcore PIM system, we established a powerful foundation for our product data management. Interfaces to SAP, Shopware, and marketplaces were efficiently integrated, data flows automated, making our processes more flexible and faster.

Pimcore was implemented as a central platform for PIM, DAM, and MDM to consolidate all product information and digital assets within an integrated environment. A custom data model clearly and structurally represents the product range, enabling consistent management of extensive product information. SAP ByDesign is connected via REST interfaces, and synchronization with Shopware 6 runs through Symfony Messenger. Live updates ensure that prices, stock levels, and product information are always up to date. Output profiles and Channable additionally enable flexible distribution of product assortments across all channels.
With Pimcore, VENDORi has created a central data hub that significantly streamlines product and marketing processes. Error rates have been substantially reduced, and product information flows automatically, consistently, and across all channels. The precise data modeling, combined with automated interfaces, not only ensures reliable data delivery but also allows for seamless integration of new products, market expansions, and international requirements. This future-proof approach secures the scalability of e-commerce activities over the long term and sustainably enhances operational efficiency across the entire organization.
