IGBCE BWS managed seminar programs, participant bookings and lecturer coordination across multiple disconnected systems. Seminar bookings via the website were not fully integrated with ERP processes, participant administration required manual coordination and lecturers lacked a structured digital platform.This resulted in redundant data entry, limited transparency and inefficient workflows between administration, participants and instructors. The organization required a centralized platform that combines an online booking shop, ERP synchronization with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, lecturer platforms and structured participant booking management in one scalable ecosystem.

Solution

Centralized Digital Experience Platform for Seminar and Service Management

A Pimcore-based Digital Experience Platform (DXP) was implemented to centralize seminar management, booking processes and stakeholder workflows. The solution combines a website-based booking shop with real-time availability, automated ERP synchronization with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and dedicated digital platforms for lecturers to manage seminar-related information. In addition, a structured booking management system for participants was introduced, including role-based access and administrative control.All components are connected through structured APIs, ensuring real-time data consistency between booking, invoicing and administrative processes. The Single-Page Application architecture delivers a seamless user experience for participants, lecturers and internal staff while providing a scalable foundation for future digital services and platform extensions.

With this project, we did not just build a seminar booking solution — we created an integrated digital ecosystem that connects website shop, ERP processes, lecturer platforms and participant management in one scalable architecture. Pimcore enables IGBCE BWS to operate efficiently today while remaining flexible for future digital expansion.
