The new solution supports multiple countries and languages, serves both B2C and B2B audiences, and centralizes product and content management. The result is a modern digital platform that strengthens the brand presence while enabling efficient content workflows and future growth.
Technogel develops and produces premium gel pillows, mattresses, and comfort products. With locations in Germany, Italy, and the United States, the company has built a strong international reputation.
Number of Locations
Following a comprehensive brand relaunch, Technogel aimed to modernize and consolidate its entire website infrastructure. Over time, multiple websites had been created on different systems, resulting in fragmented structures and inefficient content management.The goal was to establish a unified platform that reflects the new brand identity while supporting multiple countries, languages, and audiences. At the same time, the new solution needed to improve digital visibility and strengthen the global presence of the Technogel brand.Another key requirement was addressing two distinct audiences on a single platform: B2C customers looking for premium lifestyle products such as gel mattresses and pillows, and B2B partners seeking customized gel solutions for specialized applications.
The project began with a strategic requirements workshop to define objectives and analyze the needs of the different target groups. Based on these insights, internal processes were reviewed and restructured to enable more efficient digital workflows and streamlined content management.The new website architecture and content structure provided by the client were then implemented technically and aligned with the requirements of both B2C and B2B audiences.To meet the project’s functional requirements, the platform was implemented using Pimcore. The solution includes flexible content components, multilingual capabilities currently supporting six language and country combinations, centralized management of product information and dealers, as well as features such as a global store locator, news section, and structured approval workflows.
A key part of the project was understanding the different needs of Technogel’s B2C and B2B audiences. The insights from our target group analysis helped us design a content structure and user journeys that effectively address both groups within one platform.
