The focus was on developing a future-proof basis for the simple management of product and marketing data. In addition, the brand-side redesign of the overall corporate identity (CI) was to be transferred to the digital channels. The content and structure of the website was to be developed with the user journey in consideration and fulfill all requirements for improving search engine rankings (SEO).
A keyword and competitor analysis formed a solid data-based foundation for the development of a successful content strategy. By using Pimcore as a powerful content management system that enables flexible and modular content editing and is characterized in particular by an innovative product information management (PIM) approach, a structured and efficient display of product and marketing data was achieved. The new look and feel of the corporate identity was successfully combined with the structural approaches developed in terms of content to create a uniform and appealing digital presence that, includes all requirements for a successful search engine ranking.This simplified content management and ensured a consistent and appealing presentation of the products. As all important SEO factors were taken into account during implementation, there was no loss of ranking after GoLive, which speaks for a successful relaunch.
