PIM Integration

A PIM without integration is just another silo. The real value emerges when master data from the ERP flows automatically into the PIM, images from DAM are linked, enriched product information is published to webshop and marketplaces, and engineering updates from PLM trigger workflows in the PIM.

Integration covers several dimensions: data mapping between different models, frequency control (real-time, batch, event-driven), error handling and monitoring, versioning of interface contracts. Poorly executed integration slows the PIM down and creates data conflicts between source system and PIM.

Pimcore PIM is API-first by design. REST and GraphQL provide structured access to every attribute, webhooks push changes to target systems instantly, pre-built connectors for SAP, Salesforce, Magento, and Shopify reduce integration effort. Custom integrations are built cleanly on the Symfony-based framework.
