Consumers expect transparent information about origin, materials, and recyclability.

The data requirements are deep and new. Material composition per component, CO2 footprint along the supply chain, repairability classifications, recycling guidance, social standards at the supplier. This data often lives distributed across engineering systems, supplier portals, and external databases, and has to be consolidated for regulatory reports and customer-facing communication.
