While personal and offline communication between the Moderna team and their customers is very strong, this didn't translate into the digital medium. Therefore, Studio Emma was consulted to bring the Moderna online platform into a new era. The main business goals were focused on helping their distributors leverage the Moderna brand by offering a completely new website that embodies the Moderna soul in alignment with their other communication channels. Additionally, the goals included exclusive download access for partners to high-quality assets to spark higher engagement between consumers and Moderna products. Furthermore, Studio Emma aimed at integrating the Moderna order platform to provide one single point of contact for partners, streamlining the overall user experience. Another goal was the consolidation of product information to deliver consistent data across multiple mediums, ensuring coherence in Moderna's digital presence.

How Pimcore Became Moderna's Digital Foundation

With Pimcore, we provided a comprehensive solution aligning with Moderna's business goals and offering a lasting digital foundation. By integrating CMS, PIM, and DAM, Pimcore distinguishes itself through experience management, reducing the cost of multiple platform integration. The new website not only enhances brand visibility but also addresses partner demands for high-quality product assets. Utilizing Pimcore’s customer management and DAM features, partners can easily download images and datasheets in various formats. Furthermore, the platform integrates with Moderna's order system, allowing partners to use their website login. This integration, facilitated through Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ensures seamless access, password management, and authentication on the SAP order platform. The result is a unified Moderna platform, serving as a single point of contact for partners and extending the brand effectively to end-customers.

A lot of ground was covered by implementing Pimcore as part of Moderna’s technical architecture in totality. First of all, the online experience delivery towards partners and end-consumers is now in harmony with Moderna’s offline communication.
