JUNG is a premium provider of modern building technology. Lighting, climate control, security, multimedia, and door communication – JUNG systems cover all areas of modern electrical installation.

In collaboration with Agentur Richter (lead agency for concept and design), the website was completely redesigned from scratch, including many new functionalities. For the technical implementation, JUNG relied on a new, up-to-date technical foundation. Pimcore plays a crucial role in the areas of Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Master Data Management (MDM), aiming to achieve the project goals of "process simplification and process security.

The numerous existing data sources needed to be identified, import routines had to be developed, and suitable data models for various requirements had to be designed. Pimcore facilitates a Best-of-Breed approach for JUNG, embracing a "Connect everything" philosophy for effortless product data integration from existing systems. It seamlessly feeds the frontend system with data. Pimcore manages all event information, press releases (including dynamic PDF generation), brochures, and configurators. JUNG's 1,000+ references are efficiently handled by Pimcore, including images, text, location, and product details. Translation management is carried out using the Across translation management tool within Pimcore, seamlessly integrated by twocream. Pimcore DAM is used to automatically resize images for different devices and deliver them to the frontend via the twocream connector. Pimcore also handles image variants for various markets, multilingual metadata, alt-text, and SEO titles.
