One of the central aspects of the project was the design of the career pages, which we wanted to implement as a living and interactive space. To achieve this, we created an API specially programmed for BOCK, which enables a seamless connection to the HR4YOU applicant management system. But the creation of the all-important office chair configurator also presented us with an extraordinary challenge. With 113 individual products and an almost infinite number of possible combinations, we had to find a solution that was both user-friendly and technically feasible. This is where Pimcore's product information management system came into play. With its powerful and flexible architecture, we were able to develop a customized solution tailored to the needs of BOCK and its customers.
Maximum comfort for users and operators
The office chair configurator offers BOCK's B2B customers the opportunity to put together their own office chair components individually. Whether armrests, backrest or more - each element can be selected and combined according to personal preferences. The individual configurations are sent directly to the BOCK sales team by e-mail - including comments and desired custom solutions. This makes communication between BOCK and its customers even more efficient and targeted. Thanks to the integration of HR4YOU, the HR team at BOCK was able to maintain the smooth and efficient recruiting process during the relaunch - job advertisements can still be posted and updated with just a few clicks, and applications are managed directly via the system. However, the new API now ensures that the design of the career pages perfectly matches the modern and appealing appearance of the new BOCK website. Colors, fonts and layouts are consistent and radiate the BOCK brand identity.
