Coldline designs technologies aimed at simplifying the daily work of chefs, pastry chefs, bakers, pizza makers, and ice cream makers, anticipating the market needs with innovative solutions.
Together with corporate chefs, Coldline studies and designs the effects that cold has on food. Each new solution is tested in the modern cooking center designed to develop and test daily blast chillers, refrigerators, and retarder-proofers. The brand renewal project also involved the launching of the new Coldline platform. The institutional site, in 6 languages (Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, and Russian), is essential for the company to communicate the value and the product catalog. All information and technical material must be available to Coldline customers, suppliers, and distributors, with diversified access. Another strategic part is the online sale of spare parts for order collection from technical drawing.
Pimcore is the technological solution that meets Coldline needs. The CMS parts were used and customized for institutional content, the blog, and the newsletter. For the data organization, PIM manages the products and numerous technical information. DAM, in turn, contains the platform's assets, scaled for the various types of use, based on the sales channel (main images, miniatures, images at the top for the reserved area, technical drawings, etc.). Pimcore is integrated with the company's management / ERP Mago to keep products, prices, and availability up to date. Main features: an institutional website developed with Pimcore; web to print: pdf data sheets generated during processing, reserved area, management of cooking classes, and B2B functionality.
The new site is modern, easy to access and use, impactful on old and new customers alike. With Pimcore, the relationship between Coldline and retailers has become more productive thanks to constantly updated data, faster access to product information, updated pdf sheets download, possibility to access dedicated content in the reserved area, and registration for professional courses. Coldline has finally found a software (integrated with Mago ERP) where it is possible to place, manage, and enlighten all the commercial, marketing, and technical information concerning the products.
