Challenge

To enable Patients to search for and book medicines during the pandemic

At the beginning of 2020, the Polish government launched a nationwide electronic prescription program (the e-recepta [e-prescription] program). A year since its launch, the application for fast and convenient booking of medicines and other products from the pharmacy range is available in the Google Play store. It is steadily gaining popularity among teenagers, adults, and seniors alike. Making a booking for medicines is not necessary, but is additional functionality for registered users. Logged users may use additional functions, such as access to other bookings, history of previous purchases, or making requests for medicines that are not currently available. Thanks to the modular architecture using microservices, the newly introduced application can be easily expanded in the future. We hope that soon users will also be able to take advantage of many other features of the applicat
