eCommerce solution and product configurator for road barrier technology

With the Intera product configurator and the Pimcore platform, WEMAS-Absperrtechnik GmbH has created real added value for its customers.

Pimcore Solution

The Intera product configurator for WEMAS offers users the possibility to individually adapt individual products to their needs and to experience the result directly visually. Within the tool, the customer can determine the basic color of the article, select different adhesive foils and place the company logo in the form of an embossing or an adhesive foil on the respective product. This is done by uploading an image, which is displayed within the live preview.

After configuration, the individualized products can be placed in the shopping cart to send an inquiry to WEMAS or its dealers. The user also receives a PDF containing the desired configuration as a data sheet.

The Intera product configurator is based on the Pimcore platform. With Pimcore, WEMAS now also has a complete eCommerce solution including PIM, WCMS and online shop.

Based on the corporate identity and in close cooperation with WEMAS, Intera developed an appealing, intuitive user interface for the new order portal. Special attention was paid to a responsive web design, i.e. the configurator works on all mobile devices.
