Our Open Source DAM platform ensures that file management remains easy and consistent.

Central Metadata

Meta-information, which contains asset specifications, plays a vital role in putting files to their optimal use. Store metadata like copyright and license information, image descriptions, or any other metadata in a central place. Automatically add descriptive metadata, such as the date of uploading and the file size. An easy to use tagging module shifts your enterprise towards creating a findable and meaningful asset data collection.

Custom Metadata

Be it images, videos, office documents, or any other file type: The Pimcore DAM platform helps you store various metadata around it. Whether it's descriptive (file type, title, keywords), administrative (creation date, geographic parameters, expiration date, licensing details), technical (database, glossary), process-based (project, approver, status), or any other sort of metadata. Store and structure it efficiently with our open-source DAM solution, preconfigured per asset type and in multiple languages.

International Metadata Standards

The Pimcore Open Source DAM platform not only adds metadata to assets. It also scans, indexes, and displays existing metadata attached to images according to the XMP, IPTC, and EXIF standards. Based on these standards, embedded data such as the photographer, the equipment used, or the photograph's location are captured, alongside other details.
