When creating a new report, you can choose from two advanced adapters:

• List Mode Adapter
  Ideal for straightforward, structured listings. Use this mode to retrieve specific records with filtering and sorting—perfect when aggregation isn’t needed.
  

• Statistics Mode Adapter
  Generate insightful, aggregated reports with calculated metrics and pivot tables. This mode supports grouping, filtering, and summarizing data to uncover meaningful patterns.

Column Configuration

Fine-tune how your report data is displayed with a range of column-level settings:

• Visibility – Select which columns are shown in the report view.

• Export Settings – Control which columns are included in exported files.

• Sorting & Filtering – Enable users to sort and filter individual columns.

• Label & Width – Customize column headers and define specific column widths.

• Actions – Add interactive options, such as linking to data objects by ID.

Note: Some settings may vary based on the selected adapter and the type of column used.

Chart Settings

• Choose from multiple chart types (e.g., bar, line, area, pie).

• Assign the appropriate columns to axes.

• Ensure the chart configuration matches the structure and intent of your dataset.

Product Registration Arrives with Pimcore 2025.1: Secure. Compliant. Future-Ready.

With the release of Pimcore Platform Version 2025.1, we’re introducing a powerful new step in our evolution: Product Registration.

Before you can use Pimcore, your instance must be registered. This is not just a technical step — it’s a strategic one. Why? Because enterprise-grade software demands enterprise-grade control. Product Registration is key to ensuring security, compliance, and smooth operations across every installation and upgrade.

Every Pimcore project instance must be registered individually. The process is fast, secure, and fully aligned with Pimcore’s licensing model. At installation, you’ll receive a link to generate a Product Key. Apply this key to your instance and you’re good to go — it’s a one-time setup that unlocks your platform while ensuring full license compliance.

Need to spin up dev or test environments? No problem. As long as they share the same instance ID and encryption secret, they’re covered under the same Product Key. But separate instances? They need separate keys. That’s how we keep things secure and clean.

If you’re upgrading from an earlier version or have changed your encryption secret, re-registration may be required — and the system will walk you through it, step by step.

This isn’t about red tape. It’s about building a stronger, smarter foundation for everything that’s coming next. Product Registration gives you full control, ensures license clarity, and reinforces the trust and integrity of the Pimcore ecosystem — for every business, in every environment.
