Complex product portfolio in a multisite/multilanguage construct with many editors

A relaunch of a global corporate website and four country websites was planned. The product portfolio had to be mapped in a complex structure consisting of several category levels. The national companies maintain their own content, but this is structurally based on the specifications of the global website. The target group requires very wide-ranging and detailed information about the product.

A contemporary technological platform

By using the PIM component in addition to CMS modules, an efficient maintenance and translation workflow could be established. Product detail pages are automatically generated on the basis of product data objects, and helpful functions such as a product comparison can be implemented for the end user with minimal editorial effort. Product-relevant assets (instructions, data sheets, etc.) can be realized via object links and output in several places. The new structure also offers a preliminary stage for a later e-commerce process.

The Haag-Streit Group's new online presence also includes an extranet for the global network of sales employees, who can now access all relevant information digitally at any time and use the services they need. This has reduced the effort required to orchestrate and personalize content.
