Digital asset management for a data-driven application

HDMZ used Pimcore’s open-source master data management software to enhance the site’s functionality as a marketing application. The use of product information management and digital asset management allowed every product page to be tied to a data object, turning it into a data-driven application. This enabled the site to be built around Repligen’s products, creating rational navigation and context-appropriate relationships. To improve the user experience and the discovery of product information, files and documents, HDMZ deployed an integrated implementation of ElasticSearch, leaning on Pimcore’s tagging system. This allows users to quickly and reliably navigate through multiple sections of related material with minimal friction. HDMZ also built a single sign-on system on top of the customer data platform, so that the site could integrate with other platforms — notably Pardot and SalesForce — for marketing purposes.
