Growing amounts of data are a challenge for many companies - even for Suffel. There are a wide variety of data sources as well as data statuses, which in turn can only be viewed by certain specialist departments. The aim is to create structured data storage by defining data sovereignty. The challenge is to prepare the data so that it can be used for multiple purposes. Accordingly, these should be general and well structured so that they are not only suitable for the website (CMS), but also for future use cases.

After analyzing the requirements and complex product structures as well as the desired functional scope of the future system, the choice fell on Pimcore.
With Pimcore it is possible to implement and map the given business requirements of Suffel Fördertechnik GmbH. Pimcore was initially used as a content management system (CMS) and a product information management system (PIM).
As an open-source PIM system, Pimcore serves to manage the extensive and complex product structures of our customers in the field of forklifts and much more. capture, translate and manage. With the help of an intuitive user interface, data objects such as products, manufacturers, categories or product series can be easily and flexibly maintained, edited and played out via the CMS.
On the basis of customer-specific requirements and the screen design of SchleeGleixner GmbH, we have set up an extensive content management system and developed and designed it according to customer requirements. The Pimcore CMS function offers the possibility to integrate the numerous developed content modules so that the customer Suffel can design his new site flexibly, intuitively and creatively. In addition to pure text and image content, the modules can also be automatically filled with existing data objects and played out.
