How did your company get aware of pimcore?

We already knew about pimcore since around 6 or 7 years ago. Six months ago we stopped the development of our own CMS mirusys® (currently around 300 website instances running on a cluster environment) and decided to concentrate our development to pimcore website projects and integrate them into our crossmedia environment. We want to serve our customers with PIM, MDM, Marketing Management and Commerce solutions. We also need to be able to easily extend the system with new functionalities and interfaces.

Why is pimcore the right solution for your company?

Because pimcore provides exactly the right “baseline” for the projects of our customers and its usability is very good. We will use pimcore as a strategic solution. Currently we are developing around 5 prototypes based on it. In the past 10 years, we have developed 50–70 projects a year with mirusys®, our own developed CMS solution. This amount of projects will be developed with pimcore from now.

What made you join the pimcore Solution Partner Program?

We decided strategically. Pimcore will be the main recommended solution for our clients. Therefore we decided on board level, that a Gold partnership is the absolute goal for 2017! We educated all our sales, developers, PM’s and we need as much additional information as possible. We want to be the leading pimcore partner in Central Switzerland! We are excited about the exchange with the core developers and other pimcore professionals. We will be developing interfaces to other media-publishing-solutions and provide them to the pimcore community.
