Pimcore to Paris
People around the world are constantly travelling, whether for business, holiday, or personal reasons. Many travelers are leaning toward short-term apartment rentals as their accommodation of choice during their out-of-town tenure. With that said, the short-term rental market is growing rapidly and we recently took on a new client based in France called Glam à Paris, a company that manages short-term apartment rentals in Paris.
Agence Digitale SENZO, a prominent Pimcore gold partner, acquired this client through their extensive digital expertise, and were able to completely transform the Glam à Paris website. Here’s a bit more on their story:
Glam à Paris needed a complete redesign of their website to offer a positive user experience and to create a “2 in 1 site” for its two types of visitors: customers looking for a furnished apartment rentals in Paris (tenants) and owners wishing to entrust the management of their Paris-rent apartment to the Glam à Paris Agency. They needed the content for both versions to be manageable under one solution and be made available in two languages (English and French). They also needed a strong asset management platform to manage their more than 1000 digital assets which is a number that is continuously growing as they acquire more and more apartments to manage.
The solution? Agence Digitale SENZO created a whole new website based on Pimcore’s Content Management System (CMS). They delivered a global site for both tenants and owners that included a multi-site solution for the management of specific tenant pages, those dedicated to owners, and common pages for both sites. The solution also included a reliable platform to manage their collection of digital assets. Most importantly, the new UI, search functionality, and ease-of-use allowed for an amazing user experience – completely revolutionizing their business.
With more than 80,000 users around the world, the short-term rental market is just a small niche in a wide variety of industries where Pimcore is being used. However, as this particular market continues to expand tremendously – we are certain to acquire new users here!
