New silver partner in Germany: Studio1

Studio1 was founded in 1991 in Germany. They are offering their services at 2 locations. Location 1 is Heilbad Heiligenstadt, where they are focused on advertising and print. Location 2 is Berlin where digital projects and solutions in the PIM and DAM sector are created. They are our newest silver partner and we welcome them to the partner network. With currently 35 employees Studio1 works for various clients and is integrating a lot of open source software.

We asked them for an interview to find out what made them choose Pimcore as the new software framework for their company.

How did your company get aware of Pimcore?

We were doing large projects with Contentserv, which were a good solution for our enterprise level clients. However, we also have customers who need the extensive features, which a product like Contentserv has, but are not willing or able to pay high enterprise license fees. When looking for a cheaper solution with comparable features, we came across Pimcore. We were really impressed how much it offers while being open source and free to use.

Why is Pimcore the right solution for your company?

We don't want to impose recurring license fees on our clients. Therefore we have always been big fans of open source software. Pimcore is very flexible and provides easy customization, we can adapt and fit it to our client's needs. The number of features it has is just stunning - even in the standard configuration, without using any extensions.

What made you join the Pimcore Solution Partner Program?

We want to use the benefits of the partner solution program, like technical support, participation in partner conferences, and access to partner exclusive sales material and product extensions. Also, we want to actively contribute to the continued evolution of Pimcore and want to share our knowledge and experiences with other partners.
