Pimcore 5.5 adds visual workflows for data maintenance processes

Workflows are now fully standardized - based on the Symfony workflow component - and much easier to configure. A filter feature in the element tree enables quick filtering and finding of documents, data objects, and assets. Database delta updates improve overall system performance.

New Features

Workflow Engine 2.0 is the completely refactored workflow feature supports data maintenance processes and life cycles across a wide domain of asset and master data management. Workflows are now fully standardized - based on the Symfony workflow component - and much easier to configure. It is now possible to have multiple workflows per element and there is also a graphical representation of the workflow and the place an element is currently in. Learn more
