Pimcore reveals a PIM and DAM revolution at this year’s Inspire event
Salzburg, Austria: Enterprise Open Source software company Pimcore announced a series of new product features at its annual virtual conference today. Over 1 000 participants joined the digital event. They were astonished by two newly launched products, Product Experience Portal and Asset Experience Portal. These new products enable marketing teams in medium-sized and large-scale companies to create branded portals for sharing and collaborating on files and product data across departments and organizations.
In multiple keynotes, Pimcore's leadership team introduced numerous new technology partnerships. Pimcore now natively integrates with Productsup to enable brands and retailers to publish product data on 2 000+ digital sales channels, including Amazon and eBay. Its DAM integration with CI HUB lets companies seamlessly access images, videos, and content inside Adobe's Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office. The new standard interface to Translations.com provides automated translation workflows for multilingual content management.
"We are celebrating ten years of Pimcore with a firework of excellent new features. Our newly announced Experience Portals help enterprises achieve the fastest time-to-market. They are perfect for agencies and integrators who want to build customized branded portals to share and collaborate on product data and digital assets. The integrations with Productsup, Translations.com, and CI HUB enable us to provide a joint offering that takes our ecosystem to a completely new dimension. They enable our customers to launch modular, API-first, composable digital business applications faster than ever before." says Dietmar Rietsch, CEO at Pimcore.
During the event, Pimcore also announced the release of its latest free and open-source product version, Pimcore X Community Edition. It will be publicly available to its partners and customers in early 2021. This brand-new version uses the most recent technologies, Symfony PHP Framework 5 and ExtJS 7.
