The database publishing and catalog automation tool priint:suite for Adobe® InDesign® among others reduces media operators' routine tasks, opening the way for creativity through automation. Maker company of this tool WERK II partners with Pimcore, leading open source enterprise digital experience platform. By crafting common standards for data exchange, this partnership will make integration and connection easier.

Print can be a powerful offline marketing channel that’s just as relevant and dynamic as online channels. Pimcore lets you use all your master data to create, publish, target, and deliver personalized, contextualized print content.

WERK II priint:suite is a tool for automated multichannel publishing, suitable for many industries. If you need to publish master data to different types of publications (catalogs, brochures, etc.) and channels, this might be the right tool for you. By using Pimcore's service-oriented and event-driven architecture and extensive APIs, the tool priint:suite can be connected to Pimcore fast and efficiently.

With this connection, Adobe InDesign users of priint:suite have direct access to all structured data managed in Pimcore. They can work directly with their data and publish it using Comet, an Adobe InDesign plug-in from WERK II. Or they can also use publishing:hub or whiteboard using InDesign Server in the background.

Pimcore and priint:suite are two complementary solutions that together build a marketing platform for managing master data and performing automated catalog production. This enables marketing, sales, and product departments in manufacturing and retail companies to work fast and flawlessly.

Both Pimcore and WERK II offer implementation of their software solutions via a network of partner agencies. To kick off this technology partnership, a flagship project has been implemented by Elements (Pimcore strategic solution partner) and Premedia (official WERK II Enterprise Solution Partner). As part of this joint project the catalog production for J. u. A. Frischeis (JAF Group), leading wholesaler for wood and wooden materials and largest timber merchant in Europe, has been automated. You can learn more about this flagship project in the Case study (German) of Premedia.
