Gartner & Pimcore - 6 years in love
Having good relations with the analyst community is very important for a global software company. Therefore it has become almost a daily task for us to talk to analysts from Gartner and Forrester. We brief them about news from the Pimcore ecosystem, exciting new features, and the latest milestones on our product roadmap. In exchange, we continuously learn and improve from each analyst interaction and feedback. Especially Gartner seems to love Pimcore and mentions the favorited open-source data management and customer experience management platform in many reports. For Pimcore this is a recognition of good work and an excellent product strategy.

When will Pimcore join a Gartner Magic Quadrant?
There are 3 Magic Quadrants Pimcore qualifies for:
- Magic Quadrant for Master Data Management Solutions
- Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms
- Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce
We are proud that Gartner recognizes Pimcore for providing a complete feature-set, similar to the leaders in the respective quadrants. However, Gartner requires a minimum license revenue threshold a software company must earn annually to qualify to enter the Magic Quadrants. Pimcore mainly operates on an Enterprise Open Source business model (no license cost for the Community Edition; we make our revenue primarily through consulting and optional support services). Therefore Pimcore does not meet the minimum license revenue criteria. We are sure that Gartner will soon recognize the viability and benefits of Open Source Platforms. We are proud that in Gartner Peer Insights, Pimcore got a lot of recognition from trusted customer reviews. Check them out below to learn more:
