Republic of Austria: Multimedia and e-business award 2013
Since 1997, it has been awarded and has since then become one of the most important prizes for Austrian IT companies. The state prize Multimedia and e-Business distinguishes companies and their products, which are characterized by innovation and special achievements. The prize is a kind of national seal of approval, which is meant to underline the winners' achievements in Austria, but especially abroad.
Pimcore gets the national price
The main prize goes to Pimcore, which has developed the worldwide successful content management system Pimcore. In addition to the state prize presented by Michael Losch from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Mrs. Henrietta Egerth from the FFG, Pimcore was also able to win the "eCommerce" category. "Pimcore impressively demonstrates that Austria is a highly competitive IT location with exportable, internationally recognized products, "said Markus Wagner of i5Invest, one of the judges, on the scene.
