How did your company get aware of Pimcore?

Product Information Management systems have been the focus of our attention for quite a while. We are constantly monitoring all developments on the market and we were pleased to see an open-source PIM solution being offered. So much the more we appreciate the continuous development of PIM functionality within Pimcore platform.

What challenges of a client make you recommend Pimcore?

We recommend Pimcore platform as an excellent tool for building one central database to store all product information. Pimcore offers a range of functionalities necessary to achieve efficiency in data handling. Well documented API and open code let us create solutions closely tailored to our clients’ expectations. What we most often recommend is a marriage of solutions we offer to automate DTP tasks with Pimcore platform as a PIM system. A reliable source of high-quality data is the number one condition of smooth and effective automatic production of product catalogs or datasheets in PDF. A large interest Polish companies express in that kind of mix of solutions only proves its usefulness.

Which Pimcore projects are you most proud of?

One of our recent projects was for a wholesale distribution & manufacturing company. We reduced their time to market a lot. PRONAR is a commercial company specialized in the wholesale distribution of professional machinery and equipment for various industries including automotive and aviation. Learn more

Another client is an international lighting empire. This manufacturing company overcame their multi-language challenge with Pimcore PIM. Kanlux is one of the leading companies in the lighting industry with a wide range of modern lighting solutions (more than 1500 product items). What made you join the partner program and what are your expectations concerning the partnership?

The Pimcore platform is an advanced solution offering various functionalities where the PIM subsystem is only one of them. By being an official partner we would like to contribute to the further development of the module we are most interested in. Partner status also acknowledges our trust in the product and validates us with Polish clients.
