B2B Catalog Website With Integrated PIM and DAM for Frozen Food Brand
Coup de pates® is a French brand of the international food group ARYZTA (Action ARYN, Quotation Bourse Swiss EBS Stocks), specialized in the distribution of frozen products for professionals in the catering trade: bakers, pastry chefs, caterers, restaurants, hotels, etc.
As a French brand of the international food group ARYZTA, Coup de pates® continued its collaboration with the digital agency SENZO and consolidated its choice of Pimcore for the redesign of its BtoB catalog website with integrated PIM / DAM for catering professionals.
French brand created in 1990, Coup de pates® had an aging BtoB catalog website: non-responsive, the old website was no longer suited to its professional customers in the catering trade (bakers, caterers, restaurants, hotels, etc.) and needed to reinvent itself.
Beyond the aspects related to UI / UX and responsiveness of the old version of the website, the other problematic encountered by the Coup de pates® brand was the need to have a real master database in order to deliver complete, reliable and centralized product information, not only for its website but also for its paper supports.
The French digital agency SENZO having already used Pimcore for the redesign of the corporate website ARYZTA France (formerly Aryzta Food Solutions), it is therefore natural that the new website for their brand Coup de pates® was extended with Pimcore.
The brand new BtoB Coup de pates® catalog website thus offers its users a whole new digital experience on desktop, tablet and mobile:
An approach by thematic universe with landings pages offering a selection of products, news and recipes targeted to each business;
A more efficient search engine based on Elasticsearch technology, allowing in particular to perform fuzzy searches (with spelling errors);
An advanced filter system: by use, range of products, ingredients, allergens, etc.
A wish list allowing you to save your favorite products and send your list by e-mail in order to place an order with the sales team;
Recipe pages completely redesigned with ingredients directly linked to the Coup de pates® product database.
With a catalog of nearly 1,500 products, SENZO relied on Pimcore to set up a real master database (PIM), fully integrated into the new BtoB catalog website. Several types of data have been restructured, centralized and enriched thanks to the modeling in Pimcore of several objects: products, recipes, allergens, ingredients, news, etc.
The DAM part is not to be outdone in this project since Pimcore also came to welcome several tens of gigabytes of high-resolution images in various RGB / CMYK formats (.tif, .eps, .psd, etc.). These images being used on the website after optimization and generation of versions adapted for the web, their high-resolution versions are also directly used on a daily basis by the Marketing team as well as in the context of paper supports (catalogs, leaflets, etc.).
The brand new BtoB Coup de pates® catalog website offers a global digital experience, adapted to the needs of catering professionals by offering efficient and optimized product search, smoother navigation and better targeted services. The result thus obtained with Pimcore provides a real consistency in terms of product data as well as the centralization of all the CMS, PIM and DAM tools necessary for managing all aspects of the brand catalog.
