The concept also required the merging of the website with the previously separate webshop. The successful integration of e-commerce into the new website based on Pimcore enables the company to use innovative functions such as automated order transmission or a flexible pricing structure even for individualized products.

The Initial Situation
Divina's previous web presence relied on a separate web store. In order to consistently modernize Divina's overall presence in line with the agency-wide concept, the existing web store was integrated into Divina's website. The implementation of the configuration of products such as bathrobes or towels was challenging. The individual ordering options and the product import of the existing store required innovative solutions, which were implemented with Pimcore.

The Solution with Pimcore
With the realized interface between the ERP software Abacus and Pimcore, Divina's ordering system was automated, which, thanks to intuitive editing of the content in the backend, now enables Divina to independently manage the individual discount structures. In order to implement the flexible price structure for bedding, which can consist of several or individual products, the product structure of Pimcore was extended by two main elements in the form of a container element.

DACHCOM designed the new website with integrated store and implemented the interface between Pimcore and the ERP system Abacus for the automated order transmission, which is now processed by Divina on its own in the backend. For the individual bedding configurator, DACHCOM further developed the existing CMS system, enabling innovative offers in the new webshop.
