Online Shop for Manufacturer of High-End Kitchen Appliances
BORA Holding GmbH is the inventor of an innovative fume cupboard that combines efficiency and style. MyBORA is an online portal for the end customer to receive further services around the product such as product guarantee support and lifestyle orientated content like recipes or events.
For MyBORA a new website was needed. Required capabilities were responsive design, multiple data interfaces, an integrated shop and a customer dashboard including a history of purchases, invoices and the possibility to print return shipment labels.
Pimcore partner DGTLS set up the website with an integrated online shop. Multiple paying methods are available with payment provider payone. The user can register an already purchased product, and thus extend the product warranty. Customers can register and log in and download user manuals and help guides for each product. Product returns were made easy for the customer with automatically created return labels available for download.
Besides the online portal, where a login is necessary, a website with lifestyle content (recipes, news, events) was created.
Custom payment integration (payone) for seven countries with different payment options for each country using Pimcore eCommerce framework
Automated PDF creation of return labels via DHL API
Pimcore as a central hub with interfaces to external PIM, ERP, CRM
The login area allows up-selling through newsletters and notifications. Additionally, the great online customer support area with FAQs, etc. decreases direct contact needed via phone/email and increased customer satisfaction. Multiple payment options led to an increase in online purchases. The combination of products (eCommerce) with lifestyle content (CMS/UX) underlines and elevates the innovative and modern products.
