Solution

AFEW chose the Pimcore PIM and DAM solution and as implementation partner twocream from Wuppertal.twocream received the order for the realization of the project with technical conception, development and implementation. The twocream team developed the Pimcore modules and designed the different data models for various specific requirements.Pimcore gets its data from the ERP system and was connected to the online shop (Shopify) via API. The image import was solved via a hotfolder function, where the allocation of the images is highly automated. Not only product data is transferred to Shopify, but also the content pages of the online shop receive their data from Pimcore. Various product feeds are automatically extracted from Pimcore in short time intervals and made available online. Finally, the Afew team also controls the social media channels via Pimcore based on the Pimcore product data.
