Challenge

The BMZ Group requires eCommerce systems to support B2B sales for its bicycle storage and energy storage system product lines. The product lines should be operated on their own websites, but still managed centrally. A connection to Microsoft Dynamics ERP should be possible. As is usual for B2B eCommerce systems, it must be possible to maintain complex price structures.

Solution

Pimcore is used as PIM and DAM system, which controls the content to the respective portals. The system was designed so that the addition of further product ranges and portals is possible. The data structure was created by Solution Partner LifeStyle Webconsulting so that all product information is maintained and transferred to the shop system and the swoox document search system. This makes it easy to integrate filter and full-text search on the sales portals.

A presentation of prices in the B2B portal takes place only after the user has undergone an in-house approval process. In this process, the user can also be assigned to a customer group and individual price lists.
