Böckmann Fahrzeugwerke GmbH is a leading manufacturer of transport and trailer solutions for the horse, livestock and car segments. The company is based in Lastrup (Lower Saxony) and employs over 300 people. With a distribution network of more than 300 trade partners in more than 30 countries, Böckmann serves an extensive international market.
The company's goal was to design and implement a new corporate website. In the process, the product and dealer data was to be imported from the ERP, including the existing display logic for the front end, into Pimcore.

Effective data retention and editorial freedom
The data structure within the Pimcore PIM component was designed and implemented by anyMOTION based on ERP data and marketing requirements. Approximately 50,000 data records are directly linked here in the course of the import process and delivered in the front end. By means of the delta import process, only changed data is taken into account, which means that the data import can be carried out in a resource-saving manner with maximum efficiency. In addition, the data storage in the PIM provides the perfect basis for a product configurator, which was developed in parallel to the new website and is seamlessly embedded in the user experience via the Pimcore CMS. In order to meet the different user needs, product-relevant page types can also be set through editorial configuration options so that all customer groups can quickly and easily obtain the desired information about the product and thus be served in a targeted manner. In addition, the Pimcore CMS component offers editors a very high degree of flexibility for the creation and design of website content. Via the integration of Elasticsearch as an onpage search, the extensive product data can be searched quickly and effectively so that customers can find their way around the site in the best possible way.
