Case Study: A clever solution - central data management for 3 companies
The Eichsfeld Klinikum is a large hospital operation with around 20 locations and over 1,200 employees. The company's new Pimcore website offers a wide range of design options, barrier-free views, an extended search function and much more.
The key challenge in this project was to merge a large amount of decentralized data from three websites into one system. Thanks to Pimcore, we created a clean data structure with a clear backend.

Consolidating masses of data
The Eichsfeld Klinikum, a large clinic in Thuringia, Germany, combines several companies under one roof (hospital operations, outpatient care service, affiliated medical practices, etc.). Over the years, this produced a wealth of marketing-relevant data, content and systems. The challenge in this project was to bring all the masses of data together, standardize them and transfer them into a technically clear structure.
Three companies - one website
The new website of the Eichsfeld Klinikum brings together all its associated companies (clinic, care and practice) on a clearly laid out platform. All content was prepared in a clean, uniform, comprehensible and patient-oriented manner and structured in the backend in such a way that even technical laypersons can maintain, update or create new data. On top, the new site meets the needs of both physicians (who can click through the content using the main horizontal navigation by specialty) and patients (who can use the navigation by disease pattern to quickly find the appropriate information and contact person). Further technical highlights include the career section with the option of integrating video sections and a barrier-free implementation with color switching, font size switching and read-aloud function for blind users.
