The highly individualized prices for customers, including variable discounts in e-commerce, were standardized and restructured with an interface between Pimcore and Navision. The nearly 2000 customers of Formex AG networked in the ERP system benefit from this.

The Initial Situation
Formex AG's extensive and individualized online store with ERP connection required restructuring. In Formex AG's existing e-commerce, around 2,400 separate products with highly variable prices and discounts had to be migrated to the new store based on Pimcore and connected to the ERP system via Navision interface. Special attention had to be paid to the complex login structure in the existing ERP system. The customers of Formex AG have different logins with diverging authorizations depending on the authorization within the respective companies.

In order to optimize the performance in the area of e-commerce and to ensure the interface connection to Navision and Comnorm, the Pimcore products MDM and CMS were used to lay the foundation for far-reaching improvements in master data entry and content capture. With the newly implemented, innovative interface, Formex AG customers benefit from direct connectivity with Formex AG's e-commerce and can place orders without leaving their working environment. The individualized prices and special conditions have been automated and simplify the flow of goods. Pimcore with Coreshop made it possible to map the complex discount rules in an automated way, taking into account various special cases for the end customer.

With the configurator for front blanks created by DACHCOM, Formex AG customers benefit from increased product flexibility. The website's search function, which is linked to Elastic Search, increases the overview of Formex AG's extensive product range.
