Case Study: Stronger Presence and User-Friendly Asset Management
To position itself as a quality supplier alongside major players, Möbel Eichler needs a convincing web presence. The new site with Pimcore DAM offers convenient management of the extensive image material in the background and an attractive product presentation in the foreground. The family business Möbel Eichler in Wolfwil has to assert itself alongside the large furniture stores. It, therefore, focuses on individual advice, planning of furnishing concepts, and service. And it scores points with products from local manufacturers and made-to-measure furniture from its workshop.
Business Needs
The clientʼs goals were a better structuring of the website, an aesthetic presentation of the extensive product range, and an overall contemporary appearance. For the presentation of the furniture, many and premium-quality pictures are necessary, and these also come from very different sources. That is why it was particularly important to make the image material as easy to use as possible.
Pimcore Solution
Pimcore scores with the arranged asset area, in which the extensive image material in various formats can be managed. The web design was created according to the individual wishes of the customer. Brunner Medien developed bricks (e.g., the Logoslider) tailored to the customerʼs needs. Besides, Brunner was also commissioned to create texts. Keywords were specifically used to improve the findability of the online search.
Business Results
The new site now features a clear presentation of the product range and an intuitive, user-friendly CMS. The centralization has greatly facilitated the handling of the image material in the Pimcore-DAM. Besides, the Pimcore solution makes it easy to expand the site with a shop system in the future.
