Case Study: Automated Inbound Process for TEKO Improves Targeting
With five locations in Switzerland and over 450 lecturers, TEKO offers a broad spectrum of training and continuing education across three sectors: technology, industry and commerce.
Business Needs
Currently, over 1500 students attend courses at TEKO. Info events at a various location are an important element in reaching new prospective students. Visitors to these information evenings receive a comprehensive picture of everyday life in education and the opportunities for achieving a successful graduation.
Previously, registrations were based on direct contact between TEKO and interested parties, or registration via the website.
To automate this process, information material was processed that had been made available when e-mail addresses were specified. Subsequently, we offer further information and reminder e-mails through the automated inbound process, in an attempt to reach our predefined goals.
Pimcore Solution
In conjunction with the agency Standout GmbH and GO4WEB GmbH, an automated procedure has been established, which groups visitors together, from their very first visit to the website, by means of predefined events. Following a download and the consent of the visitor, we can support them optimally.
For this, we use the flexible scalability and object structure of Pimcore. Each event, and the status achieved in the inbound process, is saved and can therefore be called up in Pimcore at any time. Newsletters outside the inbound process can also be sent in a more targeted way.
Business Results
By providing freely downloadable information and actively supporting prospective students, TEKO has managed to consistently gain new potential contacts. In this way, the number of newsletter recipients has doubled within a very short time, and is growing significantly every month. The info events are now well attended, as desired, and this without further administrative outlay.
