Case Study: Raiffeisen Lagerhaus Centralizes Retail PIM, Ecommerce and B2B Portal
Raiffeisen is the brand name part of more than 330,000 companies that are engaged worldwide in upstream and downstream agricultural products and general financial services. With 38 locations, 9 workshops and 26 petrol stations in the province of Salzburg, Raiffeisen Salzburg Lagerhaus is one of the leading suppliers in the household, gardening, agriculture, construction, and energy sectors. High customer orientation and qualitative advice are the first priority.
Pimcore Solution
6,000 products are centrally managed in the Pimcore PIM system and can be syndicated as required. A supplier portal allows the suppliers to participate in the data maintenance - thus the target number of about 12,000 articles in the webshop will be reached soon. Templates for brochure production can be generated in no time and directly in the system by using Pimcore's database publishing features. The products and assets from Pimcore digital asset management (DAM) platform are also used for digital signage at the point of sale - single source and multi-channel data management has thus become reality.
Business Results
In contrast to a purely centralized online shop, a Click & Collect strategy offers optimal service for customers and added value directly in the dealer location and online. Customers can choose from a wide range of products at home or at the point of sale, make an immediate reservation if available or have the goods delivered to the nearest warehouse. A central product information management system links various data sources. The company also sells solid houses, which can be configured online by the customers, including a quotation. In addition, a wide range of services can be used with just one click. Even annual fuel oil and pellet orders can be ordered in the new digital platform.
