The previous system was primarily a CMS system. This meant that not only automated data synchronization was difficult. Manual control and adjustment of the data was also no longer up to date. The infrastructure, which had grown over the years, had to be adapted to current needs and future-proof technologies. Leviat products are industrial products with a considerable amount of information. Therefore, structures and data models for the product data and the corresponding information had to be created in the conception.

Pimcore CMS is not only the excellent basis for the new solution, it also perfectly captures all unstructured data. Pimcore PIM/MDM and DAM provide the ideal home for all structured data, enabling product data to be maintained in one central location. This way, the Pimcore product family provides a unified backend for all editors with a single system, significantly increasing the acceptance of the system by all stakeholders.

A single point of truth according to the latest standards

In the new, modern Pimcore data management, master data can be managed or maintained quickly and conveniently. Thanks to the numerous preconfigured data fields in Pimcore, even complex data models could be implemented quickly and easily as well as being linked to the CMS. The CMS proved to be the perfect complement to the Pimcore PIM/MDM and DAM applications. In the new, modern PIM/MDM/DAM system, employees can now publish product information and other data to the website easily and with minimal effort. The result is an excellent user experience for site users but also for editors.
