In addition to that, there was a requirement to create a complex integration via API with the ERP system to handle queries specific to e-shop product sets on the go. The client also needed a 'Lookbook' for creating product photography to offer customers a visual experience which is smooth, intuitive, easy to use as well as interactive.
To achieve the required results, Pimcore’s "connect anything" architecture and a holistic API driven approach was of immense help. Standard Pimcore functionality was used, along with additional development of REST API for the needed ERP system. Pimcore’s API facilitated the integration, making it quick and simple. This enabled a two-way real-time communication required for the eCommerce system. The new solution that Pimcore created, came with built-in support for multi-locale as well as five different languages.
Pimcore’s eCommerce implementation along with inclusion of dynamic CMS management, PIM and DAM modules, helped Denim Dream unleash its full potential, turning it into one of the leading retail players selling international labels in the Baltic states. Most importantly, Denim Dream e-shop won the "best eCommerce solution" of the Baltic states award in 2018, awarded by Baltic e-commerce summit.
