Schuchardt Maskin's online sales had steadily been growing the past few years. Their product catalog was becoming bigger by the day, adding more complexity and challenges with performance. In 8 months' time – Level Nine architected and developed a brand new e-commerce solution based on Pimcore and Magento 2, able to handle Schuchardt's growing needs in an expanding market.
Schuchardt’s assortment of products was steadily growing and the data became more complex each day. Schuchardt’s existing platform quickly became outdated and couldn’t keep up with the growing assortment and complexity. With a target set to expand to more markets, a more powerful and scalable solution was needed to keep up in a market of rapid change. Required Capabilities included: Modern and scalable PIM-system, complex product data configuration, tight ERP integration, DAM, and multi-store capabilities
In 8 months, Level Nine architected and developed a brand new e-commerce solution, with Pimcore and Magento 2 as the foundation. Together with tight real-time integration of the company's ERP (Pyramid). Schuchardt's ERP acts as the master of base Product data, Customers, Prices, Stock, and Orders. Data is then transferred in real-time through custom-made integrations between the ERP, Pimcore, and Magento. Level Nine developed a tailor-made Pimcore -> Magento Connector to fit Schuchardt's precise needs. The Connector is responsible for synchronizing Product Data between Pimcore and Magento. Features include: CRUD-operations for all Products, Categories, and data - Automated attribute creation and manipulation, direct integration to Pimcore's DAM, grouping and dynamically configuring Product variants, custom sorting of categories, products and variants and multi-store abilities
