In the process, the huge portfolio of 155,000 products, spread over 4 business divisions, was integrated into a powerful PIM and the international web presences, previously spread over several websites, were merged into a single, central Pimcore website.

In the 70 years of its existence, Goetze KG from Ludwigsburg, Germany has developed into one of the world market leaders in safety valves. The components can be found in American industrial plants as well as in mega-hydrogen filling stations in China. The family-owned company has achieved this through high quality, perhaps the fastest delivery times in the entire industry and an unrivaled product portfolio. It is precisely this portfolio that poses the greatest challenge for our backend - 155,000 safety valves and fittings from a total of 118 series have to be included on the website. All with their own technical data indicating the nominal diameter, pressure and temperature at which the respective products can be used. Depending on which of the four business units of the Goetze Group a valve is offered in, the accompanying texts and additional information change depending on the application of the valve in question.

With a complex import, we manage to import and map this product range on the website. But because this is not enough for Goetze customers with their specific requirements to determine the right product for the respective application, we design one of the most complex filter systems in our agency's history. In addition to the technical values mentioned, it can also be used to display hidden information such as industry suitability for pharmaceuticals and certifications. Further questions are answered by the extensive download database with 1,268 documents. Until the end of 2022, the websites of the international Goetze locations presented themselves as independent pages. With the new website of the mother ship, the USA, China and Brazil are coming back home digitally. The new Goetze Group website therefore offers six market versions in German, English, French, Russian, Chinese and Portuguese.

Thanks to the web relaunch, the international parts of the Goetze Group are now presented in a congruent design across all countries and speak - at least figuratively - a common language. Thanks to the central maintenance of the downloads in the DAM and the multilingual product maintenance in the PIM, the data is now maintained more reliably and with significantly less effort for the international teams.
